Children's Eyecare
Children are often unaware of issues with their eyes or vision and many eye problems may not give rise to any symptoms. Early detection is key to successful treatment of eye conditions and is crucial for their development socially and to the best of their ability.

Ensuring Every Child's Eye Health Matters since the 1950's
We emphasise the importance of regular eye examinations for children, especially if you have concerns. Our dedication extends to even the youngest members of our community, as children as young as six months can receive thorough eye assessments by our highly qualified Optometrists.
Children currently benefit from NHS-funded sight tests, with free tests available for those under 19, as well as Optical Voucher support for glasses if needed. At the Eyecare Centre, our focus on paediatric eye care is backed by additional qualifications, allowing us to carry out visual assessments for conditions like dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
We also offer a wide selection of children's eyewear, including trusted brands such as Tomato, Rock Star, Base Box, and Wolf Cubs, ensuring that children have access to stylish and durable frames suited to their needs.
